I've got to stop messing with the Moondogs. The Ultrapath connection sounds great; I've cleaned up my wiring from years ago...and everything else about them is just fine. There is only one other thing I've been interested in trying -- direct coupling between the 6SN7s. DC-ing between driver and 2A3 has more complex issues related to it, but I've seen so many schematics that use direct coupling between the first two stages, that I'm curious to give it a try. There may be some biasing adjustment required, but that should be too hard to do.
