For power supply isolation, EE and my ears tell me a CCS works the best. I don't believe the DRD _entirely_ removes the power supply from the signal chain, but it does quite a good job of it. Likewise, I've heard claims that parafeed removes the power supply, but my ears verify that it does a good job, but the PS is still there. I believe DRD does this better than parafeed. But who says removing the PS is what you want? Some people like the sound of oil caps. It balances out their system. So asking for flaws is mostly a flawed question. The question should be, do you like the sound of oil caps? Personally, I tend to prefer the sound of a good CCS, the benefits outweigh the problems. This is more true in small signal applications however. In power amps, choke loading et. al. is very very good.
I haven't heard the DRD topology yet, but hope to someday.
