Thanks for that quick bit of help. I'm measuring B+ of 368 at the tube pin. Since the older assembly instructions don't include the power resistor across the filter cap, I installed one in place of the existing lead between the two pos. terminals (this is the location of the 1K resistor on the new schematic you sent me). There is a dropping resistor after the filter caps, but not one between the two. I was going to put a little resistance right at the plate pin, but was concerned about possibly inducing hum. My feeling is that 368 is too high, and should be brought down to specs + or - 5 volts or so.Thanks again!
