The specified plate voltage, according to schematic, for plate of the Moondog 2A3 tube is 350 + or - 10 volts. I happened to notice in my RCA manual that in SE mode, 2A3 voltage is listed at about 250, and 300 in PP. Is there a reason that the Moodog's is as high as it is, and could this higher voltage result in reduced tube-life expectancy?erik
