Happy T-day everyone!I have no other reason for posting this than to express my pleasure at my recent Laurel II purchase. Sorry Ron, I got them used, but I hope you are happy for me all the same.
I have Klipschorns and a variety of digital boxes designed to eek out music from CDs.
I have had a hard time tearing myself away from my stereo lately. I feel like Homer Simpson "Can't talk now, eating" more like "Can't talk now, listening".
What can I say about this magic elixir?
No the change was not dramatic. There was a change though and it was for the better. My SS amp sounded sweet and smooth until the Laurels arrived; then they sounded steely and thin.
I am awash in music. It is so palpable now that all I can do is sit and marvel. My biggest regret is that I only have so many hours in the week to listen. Maybe I'll quit my job :).
