Hi Ron:

You know me as Erik, by the way...I noticed on the updated schematic that there is a power resistor 1K 10 watt across the positive terminals of the big filter capacitor. On the older schematic (which my dog HONESTLY chewed to pieces), there is simply a lead connecting the two positive terminals, no resistor to from CRC filter network -- If my memory serves me right, here. Is this an alteration I should make, or is it not needed per the somewhat different original schematic?
