I noted that the unpainted horn assembly is $800 while the Deluxe painted job is much more. Purely from sonic perspective, does the painted one sound better? I've read in other places that the "slipperier the horn surface, the better sound." I've lusted after these horns for awhile now, and the extra money saved on paint job would get me into the PM4AER drivers! The other question is about the active crossover. I already have a biamped system with bass cabinet. Only problem is that my Bryston active crossover only has settings for 100, 140, and 200 Hz (6,12, or 18 dB slope). You mention that Oris rolls off at 160 Hz (it says 150 Hz elsewhere also?). Is 140 Hz point with 12 dB slope or 200 hz point with say 18 dB slope going to give me integration problems? It seems to me from my boxed speakers that difference of a few dozen Hertz weren't so audible...
