I second the great-sound-for-cheep sentiment. My bedroom system is a Sansui 6060 I got at a thrift for $4. Replaced the dail lamp fuse on the power supply board and cleaned the controls. It matches well with the little Polk 4a's I have on my desk. Makes sitting at the
puter that much more pleasant. :) I'm normally not a tone control user but the bass control on the 6060 set to +6 picks up where the little Polks roll off and bring the bottom more into balance without affecting anything else. Very nice design, and it's built like a tank.
