I read an old archieved thread on Sansui SP-100 speakers. In this thread one of the posters stated that his SP-100's sounded better with replaced caps. I was wondering what specifically sounded better (top-end, bottom-end)? I ask this because I just came across a set of these speakers and think they sound pretty good except they lack bass. Does replacing the caps have any effect on the bass? Secondly do these speakers contain how you say Alinco magnets and if so is the sound quality produced by these speakers typical of these types of magnets? Thanks
