......I have never owned Jensen, but in my youthful days I'd hear folks either hate em or love em......I'd have to agree with ya on 40-50 year old Jensen though......I was recently amazed that jensen used to make a big duplex (in the 1940's/50's) not too much unlike Altecs famous 604......some audio buffs would argue who built the duplex first.....I believe it was Altec.
