MCS receivers were MOSTLY made by Technics (Panasonic) and most are pretty good stuff. IN my mind, Technics peaked in the mid 80s--later than most hi Fi manufacturers. THe speakers probably were made by Tchnics too, and are typical of Japanese speakers of the 80s.
