Got MCS receiver, 3 way speakers today-don't be jealous

I was given a MCS receiver and 3 way speakers from a freind today. She didn't remember the name but remembered it was big and "silver". Of course my feeble mind spun wildly with possibilities. Could it be a Marantz 2226b, Onkyo TX-xxxx or dare I say a Marantz 18!!!
No but it was a MCS receiver and a very nice set of MCS 3 way speakers. It looks to have a 10" woofer with a rectangular ported, maybe a dome midrange, but that could just be the coil dust cap and a cone tweeter. The cabinet has a nice wood veneer with a cool attenuator in front. If the speakers sound shitty after I ring them out I will at least keep the cabinets for fun time projects.
I may just give the MCS receiver away or rip it for parts?????
