Advice needed on buying opportunity ...

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

I have a chance to pick up the following for about $500 total:
Pioneer SX 1080 receiver, Technics SL 1400 Mk 2 turntable, Pioneer JT 215A timer, Pioneer CT F700 tape deck, Kenwood Triple Eight speakers. All the equipment is in great cosmetic shape and the owner showed me a receipt that he had the deck and receiver cleaned serviced (routine work) last year.
Any thoughts ???
