Not much I can add to that, except that the Legacy would be fourth generation. The Advent Loudspeaker, The New Advent Loudspeaker, the Advent 5012 (the Bernie Mitchell era), and then the Legacy. The first two used the Kloss orange tweeter, the 5012 and Legacy used a dome tweeter.
After a brief fling with a more modern speaker (emphasized highs) I recently went back to the Double Advent. It just simply sounds more natural and "live". Just as you said.
