Onkyo TX-2000 and TX-7540 - which should I get?

Hello

After loosing an auction with TX-2500 mkII :-( i decided to go for one of these. Unfortunately, haven't seen much opinions on the second one (TX-7540). Altough never (think it's eightees stuff) it's a part of 75xx line which i think, is better than 2xxx (the bigger, the better). Or maybe am I wrong? It has digital synthesized frequency tuner, functions such as CD-Direct playback, programmable buttons, and by no means is just more comfortable piece of equipment (but also a bit more expensive).

But generally, in terms of pure sound and receiving quality (also the headphone output is important - I have the HD 600 Senns), which is better?

Any opinion welcome.

An additional question - how good the Sansui SR-331 is, if taking another one in comparision?
