RE: Cap Values

I know you got answers on the questions you had - but I wanted to point out that the 39 pf ceramic cap is an "NPO" capacitor. This is a very high grade cap with tight tolerances and much better specs in general than a run of the mill ceramic.

I'd replace it with a good film cap or a silver mica. NPO ceramics are a bit hard to find and pricey these days.
