Yeah, sounds like something is out in your back. Try ice and heat along with minor/light stretching. I have a no disc S1 L5 issue, so I know this pain very well. Also if you can without hurting yourself more, lay on your back with your legs elevated up on a chair like in a sitting position. That will help relax the muscles in the lower back that maybe spasming. Do that for 15-20 min. A few times through out the day, that should help.
