RE: Are tubes more "perky" than transistors

These subtle attacks have long interested me. My last tube amp was a MC225, which did this sort of thing very well, but my present sand amp, with different speakers, is very good, too. I listen mostly to chamber music.

Is it possible that what you and your bird are hearing may have something to do with the way the amps interact with your speakers?
