I sold Luxman way back when ...

...so am familiar with these components. The PD264 was their entry level table at the time. A nice unit for the money, albeit with a Rube Goldberg on/off/cueing device. I preferred the step-up model PD272.

The cartridge is a Goldring 2100 that I already had. The table came with an older Audio Technica which I did not want to subject my records to.

Like you, I'm a fan of the silver face plates. Really good looking stuff.
