This was just before I went to work for Westinghouse and I was living in St.Claire Shores because I was doing sub contract work for Ford Aerospace. I think my rent was like 450 a month and this house was out in the country and the landlord was a ham and had a 40 ft tower up and a Cushcraft beam that he never took down.It worked out great because he retired and moved to Fla and he used to be on what we called the Tin Lizzie net.I forgot I scanned this photo.I don't have the B&W 5100 anymore but you guys have seen the rest of this gear.Two of these receivers I got from Ben,the guy that owned the house.Life was sure simple back then.
