RE: Question about MC-240 resistor

Like Blackdog said,that's an inrush current limiter and you want to replace those with a CL90.You need to replace those striped bumblebee capacitors in there especially the .047s that go between the phase inverter and voltage amp because they have a tendency to develop leakage and when that happens,your 12k resistors run very hot as do your 12BH7s.
I see you are in Hong Kong but Jim McShane sells the complete rebuild kits for those amps and its a huge improvement.I'm not sure he ships to HK or not but it would be wise to rebuild the amp properly.
