Hi, I used to subscribe to a mag. called Vacuum Tube Valley. If you haven't seen it I'll say it's the mag. of choice for Mike Samra and Airtime if they were stuck on a desert isle. It's loaded with vintage goodies, mostly tube stuff but face it, the best vintage stuff lies with valves. Compare Marantz preamps...
Anyway, one of the founders passed away in 2008, Charles Kittleson. His wife has made every issue published Free. I went on the site last night and it is great. I thought I'd give you crazies a heads up.
I'm going to attempt a cut and paste for the site. If it's too many words and numbers just Google Vacuum Tube Valley and it's the first thing up. Like that old Cajun chef on PBS..I Gawruntee It...Mark K.
