Thought I'd start a new thread to keep from getting tangled in the discussions in the first post
Anyway, I came across a clean Adcom GFA-545 II. I had to raise my budget a hair to include the shipping costs. Hopefully it will arrive on time and in good shape.
Given its age, I'll probably replace all four filter caps after it has run for a while and seems OK. Geezerocket's post made me do it.
Thanks for all the advice. I'll let you know how it does with the GTP-400 tuner-preamp, and my Rotel RCD-971 CD player.
