Nice. Try the amp with EH 6CA7's. My fav tube in the el34 class for stereo.I inherited a 340a and really dig it. Does it come near the 296? I remember you telling me about Scott's years ago while bsing on the phone.
Whops, I was thinking of the 7591 not the 7027 etc class.
