Many people would look at changing those six filter caps and go into a panic mode but there is no need to. Off each of the 5U4 or GZ34 rectifiers,you put a pair of 40uf to 50uf flat pack film caps which will mount under the chassis very nicely.Keep in mind that the 2 cans in the back next to the output trafo are 4 section 75v caps which will mount underneath on a terminal strip.The one to right directly behind those two is a 4 section can that is 4uf at 250v for each section.Those 4 will go underneath as film caps as well.They are bypassing I believe. The last 3 are the HV cans so I can now mount six dual 100uf at 500v F&T or JJs and that will give me 12 sections which will be just enough.



BTW,the rectifier tubes are in the wrong spot as they go in the center where the EL34s go to each end.
