it's going to read 50k at the halfway point..If it is log or audio taper,it will read about 10% to 15% of the original value which would be 10k or 15k..If you have the original pot,set it at center of rotation and read from center pin to either side of the pot and that will tell you whether it is log or linear taper..Use the resistor value you measure.If you aren't sure still,I would give Frank VanAlstine a call as he is real nice to talk to and he could answer any questions and he probably has the part you may want. He is the Hafler guru and has does some amazing stuff with Halfer and Dyna.
