So many problems are created thru misused Telefunken and Mullard tubes.

What I mean by this is the fact that the writing comes off the tubes and being a 12AU7 and a 12AX7 look almost identical to the naked eye,so many people will put 12AU7s in their phono or line stage that takes a 12AX7 thinking it has a problem when it doesn't. You will lose tons of gain or it will oscillate depending on the amp but always be sure you can differentiate your 12AX7s from your 12AU7s because its a common problem.It will work many times but it will be weak.
