RE: Lansing

Thanks Earl, interesting auction.

I grew up in and around Lansing. A cousin had a small barn full of old tools, furniture, houseware, toys, clocks, etc. he picked up from farmers he befriended in the area. I wondered what became of that collection after I left the area as I lost touch with him.

Before I left Lansing I picked up a Zenith floor model radio I had hopes of restoring. But later when I moved cross country there wasn't room to bring it. It had a black radial dial with two-speed tuning. Pretty cool. I also lost track of the friend I gave it to so no idea if it was ever restored or not.
