RE: Dynaco MK IV Boards

I try not to get into ratinge wars. Joe is a swell guy and really puts his heart into this hobby. And Bob over at tubes4hifi, well they just don't get any nicer and helpful. Bob is another version of you!!!! Great person who really cares and will NOT leave you high and dry - EVER!!!

But if I had to put the first prize ribbon on one board it would be tubes4hifi by a mile. But fair being fair Bob's board is sitting on a new and beefier version of the old ST-70. While Joes is sitting in the stock chassis and trannies version.

If anyone is considering a tube amp they really should consider Bob's VTA ST-70. It's a clear winner. Even if you are in the market for a 70 it STILL would be cheaper to buy Bob's then an old one and restore it.

But for you Mike, you've heard them all. The best and worst of the bunch and I would be MORE!!!!! interested in how YOU would rate this amp.
