I was talking Qman yesterday and he runs his system in mono and he using one western electric type horn speaker along with his Fisher 400cx2 all rebuilt with a film cap supply in the early stages. He has control over it with the A+B combined settings and he doesn't have to worry about left to right.So lets take the victrola and make it into something fanatical...LOL
