RE: Hallicrafters video of 1940 to 1945 I would guess.

I have a couple lower end models, an S-40 and an S-77. The 77 is a hot chassis, and a bit lower quality but it otherwise similar to the S-40. The S-40 is really beat up and used. Have yet to do a recap on either, I changed the filters on the 77 in the 90s and used it with a long wire in the back yard... content on SW is getting really crappy these days, else I would want to give them some more attention! A friend of mine has a Hallicrafters TV in the same sort of cabinet, now that's a neat device.

In any case that is one cool old movie.
