I rec'd a very nice example of a Yamaha PX3 linear tracking turntable from a relative (minus the dust cover which he lost at some point).
The turntable is not functioning correctly - the arm will move to the start of the record groove and drop into place but will not "track" across the record. It seems to remain wherever it is placed. HOPEFULLY an easy (and inexpensive) fix but NO ONE in my area seems to work on vintage turntables or at least not the linear tracking type.
I am in NE PA, USA but would ship for repair if necessary. Anyone have experience with any repair shops for linear tracking tables??
Thank you in advance.
Jeff
