Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

snell e 111 rebuilt

well after 2 tries i finally got the right foam surround on the drivers i ordered it from the Netherlands ,the crossovers were close to spec maybe 1 of them was off tolerance ,since these are cascaded it was easy to get a cap that would be spot on only took 27 times and 2 months of listening and trials
i have them running from a diy 2a3 amp which i have now had for 15 years and every speaker i have owned has to go through them , the snell wins completely ,very very musical and surprising easy load for my amp yes its not really vintage vintage but beats a lot of the trusty old dogs
i got them for $150 and spent maybe $60 to get them up to speed totally worth it ,i have seen a few for sale for $250 to $300
the bad part i have to refinish them and they need room and breathing space
Silence is golden duct tape is silver
