Vintage Sounding Modern Speakers?

So far my recent foray into modern era speakers has left me very satisfied with my Kef Q100s (very small bedroom in a cozy apartment building) for the Classical & Jazz music I primarily listen to nowadays, but very dissatisfied with the classic rock/blues music I sometimes listen to that was recorded back in the 60s & 70s..... like the other few new speakers I auditioned in my search, sounds like crap! Is this because those recordings were made in/for a different era initially? I have very little experience with modern speakers (I had the same Dynaco A-25s for decades, before that a series of 70s Advents), & so don't know if this is typical. Whatever the reason, are there speakers made today that "mimic" the sound of these older speakers, or will I be obliged to pick up a pair of vintage speakers just for my classic rock recordings?..... (anybody have a set of Dynaco A-10s they're looking to sell?)
