RE: a d s speaker comparisons.

I've owned a pair of a/d/s 1230s since 1983 and have yet to "upgrade." That's because I'd have to spend thousands to get equal or better sound. I once owned the a/d/s 810s, a smaller speaker with essentially the same driver component as the 1230.

Many of their speakers could be called classics because they stand the test of time, and can hold their own against many of what's out there today.
