Original mono oke.
Mono recorded oke.
Stereo recorded disappointing because a stereo recording is limited in dynamics to prevent the ping-pong effect and summing to mono suffers from canceling certain frequencies that are phase shifted.
In the past I tried it because of my mono big open baffle, disappointing.
And forget all fake stereo vinyl, summing even worse.
Original mono recordings still the most satisfying: no comb filter effect
on a mono loudspeaker, full dynamics, no listening fatiguing.
