i remember and old post here, that unfortunately i cannot find anymore, mentioning a recapping carried-out using of Siemens (now Epcos) Sikorel series caps in the power supply of a solid state amp.
I understand they are very expensive and high grade caps.
The poster mentioned a resulting sound that was very much like the classical from a tube amp.

I also think that the use of oversized PS caps can give to an SS unit the kind of omphh peculiar of tube amps.
Once i tried two 60mF blue Mallory (at the place of 2 x 10mF) ... impressive outcome. The sound had the same effortless nature than
with tube amps.
Not so often with solid state instead.
