No Surprise

I find that typical of the mentality I see at goodwill in particular and also a few other thrifts. I can't quite put a name on it. It's similar to greed but mostly it's poor focus on their customers. They act like they are doing you a favor by being there. It's a stupid business practice, but I guess when all of your "stock" is free to you, there is a lot of room for slop.

Best thing you can do is shop elsewhere. And be sure to take your own donations elsewhere, too! If there is a well-run thrift in your area, help spread the word and encourage others to donate there. Probably won't make any difference though...
