RE: Yamaha M-85 , Klipsch Forte

I sold Yamaha and Klipsch in the 80's and currently own Klipsch Heresy speakers and a Yamaha M-60. The Forte was my favorite in the Klipsch line (that we had in the store), and is the most neutral of the line we carried. If I recall correctly, the Yamaha M-85 has a Class A switch like my M-60. In class A mode, it should be a great combination. In AB mode you will be a able to rattle your hose off of its foundation. The combination should work well in a large room, even in Class A mode. I would recommend a recap of the Yamaha if you will be running it in class A a lot. A fan is also a good idea. I use a Parasound Zbreez, which is discontinued, but there are plenty of current offerings.
