I have a small pile of tulipwood sitting around for over 10 years awaiting the same fate.
We have a wood supplier about 1 hour up the road that carries a large selection of exotics. In some amazing sizes!!!! Luckily I bought some exotic woods years ago. Now you just can't get in that quality and size anymore. I have a hunk of black ebony that I've been using for inlays for over 15 years. And I mean this stuff is pure black and as hard as iron.
