If I recall correctly,

There are 4 types of stones, calcium, uric acid, struvite, and cystine. About 80 percent of all kidney stones, are calcium, due to our high intake of animal protein, and refined carbs, so it makes sense using lemon juice to facilitate voiding when the stones are due to calcium.

I drink only Distilled water {exclusively} myself Michael, so would not ask anyone to do what I would not do myself.
