RE: Would Electro-voice 12TRXB benefit from AR surround dressing?

I ended up putting the "VintageAR" surround dressing on what is probably dry paper as opposed to thin cloth; destroyed the kewl look of the burnt-orange surround - but wanted to give the dry orange paper some degree of life and "give". Seems to have caused no harm as they sound fine to me.

That plus after reading posts where people will use acrylic model paint to paint little "eNAbLe" blocks on the backs of cones or to glue strips of felt on the cones to affect their sound - I figured that some speaker surround softening wouldn't hurt.
