i kept bugging my dad for a pair of jbl to take with me to college, he knew the jbl distributor and we had l300 at home,i must confess that sometime in 80 i was given a pair of the Aquarius and hated them so much after listening to them that i burned them ,yes i doused them in gasoline and watched it burn all Halloween orange and chimney red

i did help a friend build a mltqwt (http://www.quarter-wave.com/) with the le8 a few yrs back and was amazed what a sweet driver it was, but that was 35 yrs of audio evolution and learning
so yes they missed a winner
