Yes,
You can run the Amplifier out of the Tape Output, and Run the preamp into the Tape Monitor, or Aux in (Tuner, CD, Tape would also serve this purpose. Keep in mind the tone controls will be in circuit when fed into Sherwood, but not when it is being used as A Power Amplifier [out of tape monitor.]
