RE: Ampex Micro 52 Cassette Deck

I have a mint Teac from that era that looks beautiful, and was a great deck for its time, but like your Ampex, it is virtually worthless. These were very cool looking and well built decks, but any decent deck from the 80's will clean its clock. Technology marched on after the piano-key era, so nostalgia is the only reason to own these. In my case that is good enough reason, but the market does not reflect that. I think the only cassette decks that have value are TOL Nakamichi.
