RE: Curious....

Illustrator Draftsman 3rd Class. I had a three year enlistment so not qualified for A school. I had to study and advance on my own. Most of my active duty was at Fleet Intelligence in Hawaii.

Obviously that was nothing to do with electronics. But building the Dynakits allowed me to become very good at measuring and stripping a green wire 6" long! ;^)

BTW, all three kits worked upon completion. Then a couple of years later I was working just outside Philadelphia so took all three components to the factory for check up. They touched up a few solder joints, realigned the FM-3, and sent me happily on my way.
