Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

like many (most) R/S speaker systems -- kind of "opaque" sounding IMO

the opposite of 'transparent' -- all too obvious that one was listening to a pair of speakers.

There were a few execptions, but just a handful (again, and of course, IMO).

In fact, the "Mach Two" with a cone MR and a very different horn tweeter was a considerably better sounding speaker (IM... you know...) than the One.

... and R/S definitely sold some better than average drivers for (when on special or on closeout) good to very good prices.

all the best,
mrh
