RE: Want to ask you vintage guys a modern question.....

Does seem like a funny question for the vintage forum, at least if you mean this as a technical question.

My experience with the advent of digital photography is that a lot of personal history gets lost over time as one changes computers and forgets where stuff was put.

I very much doubt very many of your heirs are going to take the time to paw through a hard drive looking for stuff they might be interested in, and those that are interested are likely to put the hard drive aside until they forget it and it gets lost or the format becomes out of date.

My opinion is that anything you think your heirs would really groove on now or in the future, you should give them now while you have a chance to tell them what it means to you or what you think it could mean to them.
