...loosing sleep over it was just an expression.

Although, I'll readily admit to having been damned disappointed for a few hours.

My gut tells me the ad was real. We spoke at length later that evening and I got the sense that it was a real deal.

I collect antique fishing tackle, which he also has, and will visit the scene of the crime over the weekend.

I've responded to ads like this every which way, including letting on that the item is worth more than they think. I've had that work and I've had that blow up in my face because it set off bells and whistles which led them to research what they had and then it ends up on FleaBay.

As for trolls, yep, they are out there.

The thrill is in the hunt !
