Have you ever wondered why tub amps are still being made today? How can you explain why people pay extreme amounts of money for new Audio Research, Conrad Johnson, VTL, Luxman, Audio Note, Atma-Sphere, Berning, Yaquin, Jolida, McIntosh, Transcendent Sound, etc. when they could by the "obviously superior" transistor amps for a fraction of the money. If things were as clear as you say, tube amps would have went the way of the 8-track long ago.

I've owned and currently own tube gear and transistor equipment, both have their advantages and disadvantages. I wouldn't fault someone for either choice.
